CLEAR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE START

Let’s work through
the details.

A good partnership starts with a clear understanding of your business—and a written agreement about how the work gets done.

FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO FIRST CONTRACT

A practical path forward.

01 / Get to know your business

Tell us what you manufacture, where you operate, your current RTO setup, and what you’d like to change.

02 / Choose the arrangement

Discuss Northwood funding, your own funding, or a proposed mix. We’ll review eligibility and the scope of management.

03 / Put the details in writing

Agree on fees, payment handling, reporting, customer communication, ownership, and responsibilities when an account needs attention.

04 / Set up and get started

After approval and agreement, work through the paperwork and account process before you offer the program on eligible buildings.

ALREADY HAVE AN RTO PROVIDER?

Start with what you want to improve.

Maybe you want to invest your own capital. Maybe you need a different service arrangement. Or maybe your business has outgrown the way you started.

We’ll discuss the change you have in mind, including how future contracts would work and what your existing agreements allow. Current contracts and customer obligations need their own review.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before we talk.

Do I need to offer RTO already?

No. We welcome conversations with manufacturers exploring RTO for the first time, as well as businesses reviewing an existing program.

Do you work with independent dealers?

We welcome dealer inquiries too. Tell us about the buildings you sell, your suppliers, and your service area so we can discuss the fit.

Which states and buildings are eligible?

Share your location, delivery area, and building types. We’ll confirm whether we can support that business and which products are eligible before moving forward.

How quickly can we start or receive funding?

Onboarding and funding timing depend on the approved arrangement and completed requirements. We’ll discuss those expectations before you begin offering the program.

How do customer payments and purchase options work?

The customer’s rental-purchase agreement sets out payment, purchase, and return terms. Those terms need to be explained clearly and reviewed as part of your setup.

Does an inquiry commit me to anything?

No. It gives us a starting point for a conversation about your business. Participation requires a separate review and agreement.
